The Sparks/Williams home, completed in early 2008, is distinctive for its long, low roof; linear ribbons of windows; and long interior sightlines with views of the landscape beyond. The interior uses natural materials such as glass, stone, Douglas fir, and oak. Subtle yet elegant features convey the home's Asian flavor: custom built overhead lighting fixtures at the entry, kitchen and bath. These one-of-a-kind elements lend warmth and intimacy by diffusing and spreading the light.
